Anna Doherty

Anna joined G9 in 2019 and leads sourcing, due diligence, portfolio company support, and platform management for the firm. Anna was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 List in Venture Capital in 2024. Prior to joining G9, Anna was an analyst at Morgan Stanley where she gained foundational experience in both investing and operations.

Anna graduated cum laude from Princeton with a BA in History and was the captain of the varsity women’s lacrosse team. Her junior independent work focused on the experiences of women in finance during the late 20th century, a topic that continues to inform her perspective as an investor.

Anna lives in New York City and is a lover of all things competitive (most recently power walking and her Oura sleep score), podcasts (Acquired, How I Built This, Invest Like the Best), exploring new restaurants, and meeting passionate founders who are pursuing their dreams every day. Anna is a member of the Kitsch board and an observer of the Roz and Julie boards.
