Amy Griffin

Amy is the Founder and Managing Partner of G9 Ventures. Since 2011, she has invested in and worked alongside early-stage companies, leveraging her operational and branding experience to help build enduring consumer brands. Earlier in her career, she worked at Sports Illustrated as a Sports Marketing and Olympic Manager.

Amy serves on the Board of Directors for Bumble and Spanx and is a member of the Board of Trustees of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Presidents’ Council of Boys Club of New York, and the Advisory Board of the One Love Foundation.

In 2025, Amy published her memoir, The Tell, which became an instant New York Times bestseller and an Oprah Book Club pick. The book chronicles her personal journey of healing and transformation and reflects the clarity, resilience, and ability to connect with people that define her approach to both business and life.

Amy holds a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia, where she was a student-athlete and captain of the volleyball team. She lives in New York City with her husband, John, and their four children. She is a devoted champion of her children, a passionate advocate for women’s rights, and perpetually on the hunt for an authentic Tex-Mex burrito in New York City.
